Official-source requirements
Delivery app photo requirements for restaurants
DoorDash, Uber Eats, Google Business Profile, and regional marketplaces do not use one universal menu-photo crop. Use this hub to check the current source-backed size, ratio, file, format, and rejection rules before publishing.
Start with the highest-risk requirements
DoorDash
- Size
- 1400x800px
- Crop
- 16:9 landscape
- File
- 2MB
- Source
- DoorDash Help Center
DoorDash item photos should be landscape 16:9, centered, sharp, bright and evenly lit. Avoid vertical or square crops, text overlays, watermarks, distracting backgrounds, stock-like images, people in frame, and photos that misrepresent the actual item.
Uber Eats
- Size
- 550x440px minimum; up to 10000x10000px
- Crop
- 5:4 to 6:4 recommended
- File
- 10MB
- Source
- Uber Help
Uber Eats photos should accurately represent one menu item, be centered, and use the recommended 5:4 to 6:4 crop. Avoid multiple items, people except incidental hands, blur, strong shadows, insufficient lighting, unsanitary settings, text, logos, watermarks, and images you do not have rights to use.
