This Privacy Policy explains what data FoodPhoto.ai collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the FoodPhoto.ai website, native iPhone app, and our backend.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and authentication details used to sign in and maintain your account and credit balance.
• Uploaded photos — the dish images you upload to enhance, and the images we generate for you.
• Payment information — browser purchases are processed by Stripe; purchases offered inside the iPhone app are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Each payment provider handles payment data under its own terms and security standards.
• Usage data — basic technical and usage information (such as device and log data) needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use your information

• To provide the browser and iPhone apps: securely process your uploaded photos in our backend, generate enhanced images, and deliver downloads.
• To manage your account, credits, and purchases.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the service.

How your photos are handled

The photos you upload are used to generate the enhanced images you request. Image generation relies on third-party AI processing providers to perform the enhancement. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to publicly advertise your business without permission.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run FoodPhoto.ai — including Stripe for browser purchases, Apple for App Store purchases, hosting, email delivery, and AI image processing — and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention

We retain account and project data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal or accounting obligations. You can initiate account deletion inside the iPhone app. Personal data and private image artifacts are deleted or anonymized; limited pseudonymous transaction records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, refunds, tax, accounting, or legal obligations. Deleting a FoodPhoto account does not cancel a subscription: manage browser billing through the FoodPhoto billing portal and native billing through Apple subscriptions.

Your choices

You can initiate account deletion inside the iPhone app and request access to or correction of your personal data by emailing [email protected].
