Our Commitment to Fairness

We want you to feel confident using FoodPhoto.ai. If our service does not meet your expectations, we offer a straightforward refund process. We believe in earning your trust through quality, not locking you in.

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All new subscription plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with FoodPhoto.ai within 7 days of your first subscription payment, you can request a full refund -- no questions asked.

  • Applies to your first subscription payment only
  • Request must be made within 7 calendar days of the charge
  • Refund is processed to the original payment method
  • Upon refund, any credits received from the subscription will be removed from your account
  • Account access reverts to free-tier functionality

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Dashboard > Settings page. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to all paid features until the period expires
  • Unused credits remain in your account and do not expire while your account is active
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • You will not receive a prorated refund for the remaining days in the billing cycle

Credit (Top-Up) Refunds

One-time credit top-up purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. However, we will consider refund requests in the following cases:

  • Technical failure: If a system error consumed credits without delivering results, we will restore those credits or issue a refund
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, we will refund the duplicate
  • Unauthorized purchase: If your account was compromised and credits were purchased without your authorization

Unused credits from top-ups can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits from that purchase have been consumed.

Quality-Related Refunds

AI-generated results can vary. While we strive for high quality, we cannot guarantee that every output will meet your expectations. If you experience consistent quality issues:

  • Contact support with examples of unsatisfactory results
  • Our team will review the outputs and may offer credit restoration or account credit
  • In cases of widespread technical issues affecting output quality, we will proactively credit affected accounts

Enterprise Plan Refunds

Enterprise customers with custom contracts should refer to the refund terms specified in their individual agreement. For enterprise billing inquiries, contact your account manager or email [email protected].

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email [email protected] with your account email and the reason for your request
  2. Include your transaction ID or receipt (found in your dashboard under Billing)
  3. Our team will review your request within 2 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider

Payment Methods

Refunds are issued to the original payment method:

  • Stripe (credit/debit card): Refunded to the card on file. Processing time varies by bank (typically 5-10 business days)
  • MercadoPago: Refunded to your MercadoPago account or original payment source within 5-10 business days

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks incur processing fees and may result in account suspension. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly.
